Irie Mag #03.04 Featuring Tóke - Frizzle

Tóke – Frizzle on Irie Magazine #03.04

A lot of news coming about our project with Tóke.
Frizzle, the track that stands as a manifesto of the whole Wake Up Inna Kingston album, is featured on the player of the latest issue of Irie Magazine (Touch The Road takeover) which can be downloaded for free here.
While you read about Ganja in Jamaica (it’s the 4.20 issue…), in addition to Frizzle, you can vibe to new music from Jah9, Jesse Royal, Sevana, Vanessa Lee Bongo and Jane Macgizmo.

Here is the summary of the issue.

Irie Magazine celebrates #420 with the release of its April 2016 World Reggae Issue (#02.03), a Touch the Road takeover issue dedicated to the Healing of the Nation. This issue features Kingston Dub Club’s Gabre Selassie along with artists Jah9, Jesse Royal, Sevana, Jane Macgizmo, Tóke, Vanessa Lee Bongo and Artist/Eye.Dealist Matthew McCarthy.

In our ROOTS feature we introduce the brilliant Dr. K’Adamawe K’nIfe as he discusses marijuana laws, economic benefits and more in Jamaica. Our Rock feature introduces the Steam Team of Jamaica as they reason about the Future of the Chalice.

Our RESPECT section is dedicated to the Jamaican Women in Cannabis, the #IRIEWeedtrepreneurs, featuring Nahima Buchanan of AVITAS ORGANICS & NLIGHTN Clothing, Melissa Bloomfield of Mel’s Tree-Eats and Marilyn Lee Bare Natural Artisan Skincare Products.

Our REWIND feature, brought to you by our partners, Touch The Road Jamaica, takes us back to the March 2016 DO ROAD… Akae Beka Live: Midnite in Kingston!

Our 420 issue also features the finalist from our first annual 420 Anthem. Public voting for the People’s Choice Award begins April 1, 2016 at 4:20 pm Cali Time!
